Company Profile

AmBuild Supply was formed in March 2019 as a shared dream by like-minded individuals, Tom Farina and Andrew Claus, to own their own business and to provide for the future prosperity of their families. With over 35 years of combined construction and material supply experience, they saw an opportunity to join forces to make use of their expertise, relationships, and supply chains to better serve their customers. With recent changes to the NY State mandated requirements for disadvantage businesses, they saw an opportunity to fill the niche as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOB) and eventually as both a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and a Minority Owned Business to help their customers meet their state required goals.

Estimating and Take-off Support

Construction takeoff: a takeoff is the process we use to figure out the exact quantity of materials needed for a specific project. It is an important step in producing an accurate estimate for a project’s cost. Upon request, we will take the time to double-check what is being requested by the contractor. We see their success as ours and want to ensure an accurate number.

 

Estimating takes the takeoff a step further and applies costs to all the materials. This is especially important when installation is involved. The extra costs with labor could include things like mobilization, travel, fasteners, time for installation in different surfaces, distribution of product and waste management of packaging. Our years of experience make us uniquely qualified to manage the portion of an estimate.
